The Consumer Game

Living within your Means

    Challenge:

The object of the Independent Consumer Game is to spend less money than you make. The game is intended to be as life like as possible. You find a career, develop a budget and spend money while carefully maintaining the limits of your budget. If at the end of the game you have money to spare in your budget, you win. But this is one game where there is no losing. If you go beyond your budget, you must figure out ways to cut costs.

    Getting Organized:

As you complete each square of the game, show your instructor your completed work. Assuming the work is satisfactorily completed the instructor will sign on the plan & profile or check list. See your instructor for a hard copy of the Plan & Profile or print this file.
